Summer Field - FDR Memorial

Our summer field, a.k.a. home sweet home, is between the entrance to the FDR Memorial and the Potomac. It's just east (well, southeast, technically) of West Basin Drive, the road that goes past the entrance to FDR and runs between Ohio Dr. and Independence Ave. You'll see a couple of softball fields there as well.

Closest Metro stop is Smithsonian; it's about a 10-minute walk.

Parking along Ohio Dr. is available, though rarely plentiful. When the weather's good, finding a spot can take a while. Note that West Basin Dr. is one way from Ohio to Indpendence, so you'll need to get onto Ohio Dr. via Rock Creek Parkway, the light at 23rd St., or East Basin Dr., which goes around the Jefferson Memorial.
